Deionisation Cylinders vs Reverse Osmosis Units

We have been looking at the benefits of deionisation cylinders and reverse osmosis units.

One of our regular customers who uses deionisation cylinders on a regeneration program has now had an increase in production and therefore requires more deionised water.

When productivity increases and you have a higher demand for deionised water there are options that AWT are always happy to discuss with you.

  1. You can increase the size of deionisation cylinder that you use, meaning that the capacity of water that flows through is increased and therefore the cylinder lasts a longer period of time.  Our cylinders range from a HQ100 model which has a capacity of 1000 liters of water to a HQ500 model  with a capacity of 10,000 liters of water.
  2. If this option is not going to be beneficial to your business then the our next option would be to look at a reverse osmosis unit where AWT can design a bespoke system built just for the needs of your business and will become very cost effective.

Our deionisation cylinders have the benefit of being smaller than an RO unit and therefore are ideal if you have a small area for your water treatment equipment.

Reverse osmosis units can be more cost effective if your production increases and water usage increases beyond the capacity of your cylinder system.
